Whether you are a professional restaurateur, passionate foodie, blogger or ambitious hobby photographer - in this workshop you will put food in a photographic setting. You start with the selection of food and prepare small dishes yourself, without any artificial additives. During the preparation you will learn the basics of food styling and image composition. A selection of different backgrounds and utensils as well as crockery and cutlery will help you to find your own style. Your course instructor will show you how to use natural daylight to create atmospheric food shots, so that you can create your own food creations at home or in your restaurant without a lighting system. Of course you will enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere after the pictures have been taken.

In this intensive course you will benefit from the many years of experience of your course instructor in food photography. Charlotte von Elm was a chef, worked in advertising photography and now works for Stockfood, Shutterstock and Adobe, among others. Basic knowledge of photography and your own camera is necessary.

Please bring your own ... digital SLR camera, tripod, lenses if available (35 mm/50 mm/85 mm or zoom), memory chip, rechargeable batteries, if available laptop with Adobe Lightroom, cable release.
