As with a painting, composing can be used to combine different elements into one picture and thus tell stories or convey messages – sometimes humorous, sometimes thoughtful.
Composing offers me the opportunity to create images that do not exist in reality; I can try out ideas and image design concepts that are hardly or not at all possible when taking photographs.
