Ich sehe mein Leben in Europa – wie ein nach Hause kommen. Es ist meine ewige Sehnsucht nach meiner Heimat, die mir hier mein neues Zuhause gebaut hat. Ich liebe diese Sehnsüchte, sie sind ein Teil von mir. Sie sind so vielfältig, wenn auch oft schwer zu greifen – genau wie dieser neue Ort. Allerdings sehe ich darin keinen Konflikt, denn ich mag diese Unterschiede, die scheinbaren Gegensätze, diese einzigartige Mischung. Deshalb vereint meine Fotosammlung Vielfalt. Die Gemälde und Installationen, die Neon-Arbeiten und meine Familie sind eins – Fragmente meiner neuen Heimat – meines Europas.“

„Moje życie w Europie postrzegam jako powrót do domu. To właśnie moja odwieczna tęsknota za ojczyzną pozwoliła mi zbudować tutaj mój nowy dom. Kocham te tęsknoty, są częścią mnie. Tak różnorodne, choć często nieuchwytne – tak jak to nowe miejsce. Ale nie widzę w tym żadnego konfliktu, bo lubię te różnice, pozorne kontrasty, tę niepowtarzalną mieszankę. Z tego powodu mój zbiór fotografii jest bardzo zróżnicowany. Obrazy i instalacje, prace neonowe i moja rodzina to jedno – fragmenty mojego nowego domu – mojej Europy.”

“I see my life in Europe – like coming home. It is my everlasting longing for my homeland that has built my new home here. I love these longings, they are a part of me. They are so diverse, though often elusive – just like this new place. However, I don’t see any conflict in this, because I like these differences, the apparent opposites, this unique mixture. That is why my photo collection combines diversity. The paintings and installations, the neon works and my family are one – fragments of my new home – my Europe.”
