The street as a stage, a visual gold mine for those who are trained in seeing. Street photography takes candid moments as a challenge, looking at everyday life for something special, finding right outside home’s front door surprising views and contexts.
In this workshop Roland Vogt shows approaches and styles of street photography by examples of known photographers. Above all, he invites to explore the streets by yourself.
After an introduction to the topic, in which different aspects of street photography are explained by analyzing photographs by Siegfried Hansen, Thomas Leuthard and others, the group goes on photo tour through the streets of Görlitz.
